For the next ten weeks I will publish a post every working-day. That makes a total of 50 posts. Quite a lot, so I expect that it will be challenging.
Before launching I had doubts if I really wanted to do this. Not sticking with it will be visible for the whole world, just as lousy content. And with two young children and many other responsibilities I know that there will be days when I will be hard pressed to find the time, energy, and inspiration to write.
After a debate with myself I came to the conclusion that it will probably be worth it, and that I refuse to let my fears win anyway. I rarely write things down, and want to get in the habit of doing that more often. Usually I am not aware of all thoughts, and flaws in my thinking, until I have captured them on paper.
The increased momentum caused by daily blogging will also make other things easier. At least, that is what I told myself. Making turns when skiing is easier when you go faster. When you play tennis you also get to balls sooner when you are not standing still, but already moving. And the saying is “If you want something done, give it to a busy person” for a reason.
In the past 10+ years I have done sales, marketing and business development for SaaS companies. I expect to write about these subjects mostly, but have no idea yet. What I do know is that, as of tomorrow, it will not be about me. My goal is to add value to you.
I hope you will follow me on this challenge so we can both see where it leads…
