Some marketers think they can create campaigns so that the consumer will think about a brand in a certain way. But it does not matter what you say, people remember what you do.
This morning a bike fell on my calf causing a significant scratch. It was bleeding quite a bit so I went into a pharmacy to buy some pads. The lady behind the counter saw my leg, immediately grabbed a bottle of alcohol and came over to help me clean the wound.
She could have just sold me some pads and quickly move on to the next customer. Instead, she helped.
I am very grateful for her help. It is also a reminder that there are so many people on this planet who care, and that random acts of kindness matter.
